At RnR, we provide professional HR services for small and medium-sized businesses. As well, we offer staffing & logistics for large promotional events and conferences in the Greater Toronto Area and across Canada. We are a dynamic team, with over 16 years experience in the industry and we are dedicated to helping businesses grow and succeed in temporary event staffing and human resource management. We are continually growing our pool of qualified event and temporary staff and we pride ourselves in being able to meet your businesses staffing needs quickly and professionally. RnR is located in Toronto, ON, but we can work with any size of business, large or small, across Canada.

Our Story

We are Rina Schaefer and Renée Laviolette, the dynamic duo behind RnR’s name. We first met in 2006 while working together as temporary staff for a large medical conference in Toronto. Soon after, we began working directly for staffing and recruitment companies, as colleagues and teammates, and successfully booked events all over Canada. Together, we spent 3 years running a customer service department in which we staffed national promotional tours extending from Victoria BC to Halifax, NS, small to large conferences at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, supported events for large organizations such as the NFL, Blackberry, Sabra Hummus, Soda Stream, and many more. We worked so well together that we quickly became known to our employers as “RnR” – the team they could trust to get the job done quickly and expertly.

We are proud of the reputation and solid partnership we have built together.  In 2014, we made the choice to solidify our partnership and by starting RnR Staffing & Consulting Inc.. Our business represents who we are – an effective and reliable business team built on the bonds of a strong partnership.

Rina Schaefer entered the staffing industry in 2005 where she worked as temporary staff for conferences and conventions in Toronto, where she discovered her passion for the industry. In 2007, Rina began working as a professional recruiter for a top recruitment agency in Toronto, booking events and recruiting event staff. Rina experienced great success sourcing, screening, interviewing and successfully placing candidates in temporary and full time employment. She has a natural aptitude for finding amazing talent all across Canada and matching the best staff for every job.

Renée Laviolette

Director

Renée Laviolette has nearly 10 years of experience in staffing, customer service and sales. Renée has the natural ability to connect with both staff and clients, building strong relationships with each. Renée began her career as a temporary event staff, eventually working her way into a professional position, giving her a unique perspective on the staffing industry. Renée’s ability to handle multiple accounts at once led to her promotion as an Account Manager where she was in charge of the Customer Service Staffing department and also played an important role in sales and marketing.

Camila Gerow

With over 14 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry, Camila has represented many clients such as Dyson, Google, WCOH, Loblaws, MLSE, Canadian Tire, Live Nation and many more. Camila has a bachelor in Social Communication/Marketing from PUC/UCLA and a post Grad in Event Management and Media production from Seneca College. Before joining RnR, Camila was working full time as an Account Manager for an event staffing company in Toronto where she developed exceptional client service abilities and has been very successful in her field. From the idea to execution, Camila has helped many clients with all their event planning and staffing needs.
Joelle Nemr

Joelle Nemr

Business Development Manager

Joelle Nemr has 10 years of experience in front-line sales and sales management. The bulk of that time was spent at a large transnational corporation where she was the recipient of many internal performance awards. Moving to Toronto in 2013, Joelle worked freelance for various well-known marketing companies for 3 years and refined her understanding of the market. With a fondness for Experiential Marketing campaigns and representing innovative technologies, her drive and excellent salesmanship made her a favourite of clients and staffers across the GTA. She joined RnR as the Business Development Manager in 2017.
